Teaching

I have taught all ages and skills, from primary school children through to undergraduates and lifelong learning. As a passionate educator, my ethos towards learning is both rigorous and empathetic. In feedback, students have commented on my expertise subject enthusiasm and have consistently gone on to become high achievers.

I have taught at a range of institutions including the University of Leeds, the University of York and Japan Women’s University. I have also tutored with The Brilliant Club.

My courses on Literature, Language and Creative Writing have included Victorian Literature, New Yorker Short Story and Writing Creative Non-Fiction.

I am always open to freelance teaching and have a decade of experience in tutoring GSCE and A-Level English.
